Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 The competition is offered by Shedlife Products Pty Ltd A.B.N. 66 662 103 782 t/a Shedlife.
1.2 The laws of Queensland that Shedlife is based apply to this competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
1.3 Shedlife Products Pty Ltd acting reasonably may amend these terms and conditions at any time. Entrants will be notified of changes as soon as possible.
1.4 By submitting an entry into the competition, the entrants understand and agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility and Entry Requirements
2.1 To be eligible to enter the competition the entrant must permanently reside in Australia.
2.2 Shedlife may in its discretion request proof of identification and proof of residency from any entrant.
2.3 To enter the competition the following merchandise will be made available for purchase:
A) Shedlife T Shirt (equivalent to 1 entry per item); and
B) Shedlife Sticker Pack (equivalent to 1 entry per item).
C) Shedlife Hoodie (equivalent to 2 entries per item).
2.4 There is no limit to the number of items/entries a single person may purchase.
2.5 Entrants under the age of 18 must have consent of their parent or guardian.
3. Dates
3.1 Entry into the competition starts on 27th September 2023 (5 am AEST) and closes midnight on 22 December 2023 (11:59 pm AEST) and drawn weekend of the 23rd / 24th December
3.2 The competition will be drawn, and the winner of the prize will be announced live on Shedlife and Mac Preston social media channels on the weekend of the 23 December 2023 (time TBA). This date may be extended or shortened if required by maximum 1 month or ticket numbers sell out by Shedlife in its absolute discretion.
3.3 Entries received outside of the competition start and closing date will not be valid.
3.4 Should Shedlife be unable to perform its obligations pursuant to these conditions and is prevented, hindered or delayed directly or indirectly by fire, flood, earthquake, elements of nature or acts of God, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, or any other similar cause (each a “Force Majeure Event”) beyond the reasonable control of Shedlife, then Shedlife shall be excused for any non-performance, hindrance or delay as applicable.
4. Winners and Prize
4.1 The prize which is being offered by Shedlife as part of the competition is a 4WD Ford Ranger Wildtrack 2023.5 with modifications (the prize) which is valued approximately at One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) or Cash of $80,000.00 . Second prize is a brand new 2023 Maverick Hornet Camper with modifications valued at Twenty two thousand dollars ($22,000.00). And third prize a Kincrome contour kit K1964B - 868 PIECE CONTOUR 60” TROLLEY KIT valued at Ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00)
4.2 The prize cannot be exchanged for another product offered by Shedlife or for money of the same value.
4.3 The prize is subject to Queensland legislative and engineering requirements. The winner will be responsible for their own due diligence as to whether the prize meets the requirements of the State or Territory in which they live.
4.4 The winner of the prize will be contacted by Shedlife on the telephone number or email which has been provided at the time of entering the competition and the entrant is responsible for ensuring the correct telephone number is provided and they are contactable within a reasonable time.
4.5 If the prize is not claimed within one (1) month of the date the prize is drawn, a new draw date will be advertised notifying other entrants about any changes.
4.6 Shedlife will be responsible for transportation costs of first prize ford ranger up to 1000kms or will cover flight costs to Sunshine Coast to receive vehicle. the winner of the competition will be responsible for vehicle registration and the costs associated with obtaining permits that are required by the State or Territory in which they live.
Shedlife will be responsible for transportation costs of second prize Maverick Camper to anywhere unless residing in Tasmania where as the Camper will be transported to Victoria for collection however, the winner of the competition will be responsible for vehicle registration and the costs associated with obtaining permits that are required by the State or Territory in which they live.
Shedlife will be responsible for transportation costs of third prize Kincrome tool kit anywhere.
4.7 Shedlife reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any entrant who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or affects or attempts to affect the fairness and proper conduct of the entry process.
4.8 Shedlife's decision concerning the prize, value and winner of the competition is final and no negotiation will be entered into.
4.9 No refund will be given if the prize is lost, stolen or damaged.
5. Publicity
5.1 As a part of the competition, Shedlife will undertake publicity activities. The winner of the competition, therefore, agrees to a video being posted on the Shedlife / TJ and Mac YouTube channel of the winner receiving their prize.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1 By entering the competition, the entrant accepts Shedlife will be capturing personal information including an email address, residential address and phone number. Shedlife will store and use any personal information collected in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be obtained at request.
